How to spot fake emails<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Phishing fraudsters try to obtain your confidential or personal information by sending emails that look genuine, but could ask you to submit details on an unsecure site. Look out for:<br \/>\n\u2022 Suspicious addresses \u2013 is it from someone who you would normally receive emails from?<br \/>\n\u2022 Subject lines \u2013 with a sense of alarm e.g. &#8216;Security Alert&#8217; or &#8216;Your account will be suspended.&#8217;<br \/>\n\u2022 Requests for information \u2013 genuine companies never email you for User Names, Passwords, Date of Birth or Credit Card details.<br \/>\n\u2022 Links within emails \u2013 it&#8217;s always safer to type web addresses rather than clicking on links.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top Tip!
